Prelude to Act 1 of La Traviata
Sentimental (and brief) prelude to Act 1 of La Traviata. The prelude to the opera begins with very soft theme depicting the frail heroine, followed by the main love theme of the opera, which is then played in a lower tessitura while the E fat and Piccolo trumpets decorate the melody.
