From Three Caucasian Sketches composed by Mikhail Ipolitov Ivanov in 1896, influenced by Georgian folksongs near the Caucasus Mountains. The 3rd movement is perhaps the most famous work by Ivanov frequently performed by itself and a favorite program piece of orchestral pops concerts.
